Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy — Doorway (doorwaymatch.com). Effective October 29, 2026.

Doorway helps San Diego families find local help for home transitions. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you submit a Get Matched request, a provider claim or interest form, a contact message, or a newsletter signup, we collect the information you provide: your name, email, phone number, the property's city or ZIP, your situation, and anything you write in the message fields. We do not collect payment information. Our hosting and form providers may record basic technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

To respond to you, to review your request, and — only with your permission — to introduce you to a local provider. Newsletter emails are used only to send the Doorway Letter, about once a month, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Sharing

We share your contact details with a provider ONLY when you have approved that introduction. We never sell personal information. We share information with the services that run our website, forms, and email (for hosting and delivery), and if the law requires it.

Your California privacy rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask how it was shared. Contact us through the contact form on this site and we will respond promptly. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

We keep form submissions only as long as needed to help you and to keep basic business records, then delete them.

Children

Doorway is for adults arranging home services; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
