About Doorway

When a family inherits a house or helps a parent move, the first question is usually “where do we even start?” Doorway exists to be that starting point.

We're a small San Diego-based team. We read every request ourselves and try to connect families with independent local providers who fit the job — cleanouts, estate sales, downsizing, hoarding cleanup, and move-out clearing.

Doorway is free for families. During our launch, listings and introductions are free for providers too; in time, providers will pay a per-introduction fee, which is what keeps Doorway free for families. We don't perform the work. When a provider claims their listing, we confirm their details directly with the business and show what was confirmed, and when.

Interested in a separate, optional consultation about selling the property through SoCal Home Options? Mention it in your message.
